TAKER Inc. ("Company") respects user privacy and is committed to protecting personal information in connection with the use of "BaseOneAI" software.

1. Core Principle

BaseOneAI is a "local-first" software. User data is stored on the user's local device (PC) and is not transmitted to our servers.

2. Information We Collect

Information we may collect is limited to:

Email address (optional): Collected only when voluntarily provided during newsletter signup.
Contact information: Name, email, and message content submitted through the contact form.
User ID (Easy Mode): An auto-generated UUID. This does not identify you personally.
Usage data (Easy Mode): Request count, token count, and timestamps. Used solely for billing management.

We do NOT collect the following (Zero-Log Policy):

AI prompts (questions to AI)
AI-generated responses
Content created or edited by users
File information on users' PCs
Location data

3. AI Features

The Software offers two AI usage modes:

A. Easy Mode

When using AI features, prompts are sent to Google Gemini API via an encrypted (HTTPS) Cloudflare proxy server. Prompt content is NOT stored on the proxy server (Zero-Log Policy). The proxy server only records User ID, request count, token count, and timestamps for billing purposes.

B. Own API Key Mode

Communication goes directly from your PC to Google Gemini API, etc. Data does NOT pass through our servers.

About Google Gemini API: We use the paid version (Pay-as-you-go). Therefore, prompts are NOT used for Google's AI model training.

Please refer to each AI provider's privacy policy for their data handling practices.

C. Local AI Mode

When using local AI (e.g., Ollama), all data processing occurs entirely on the User's PC. No prompts or responses are transmitted externally.

4. Purpose of Use

Collected information is used only for:

Sending newsletters and update notifications
Responding to inquiries
Improving our services

5. Third-Party Disclosure

We will not provide, sell, or share personal information with third parties except:

With the user's consent
As required by law
When necessary to protect life, body, or property

6. Cookies

Our website may use localStorage for language preferences. We do not use tracking cookies.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

Personal information such as email addresses will be deleted within a reasonable period after the purpose is fulfilled. Users may request deletion at any time.

8. Children's Privacy

The Software is not intended for children under 16. If we learn that personal information has been provided by a child under 16, we will promptly delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Updated policies take effect upon publication on this page.
